Time Management for Photographers

After watch Time Management for Photographers by Kevin Kubota. I took the time to sit back and really think about what all he was talking about. For instance, the golden hours I am more alert around 7 am or 8 am. I do find myself if after I wake up not doing anything when I get out of bed I feel sluggish. But if I get up and start working right away it is like I can never sit down till the end of the day. I feel more energize if I keep moving or if I sit down I will feel like not even trying to get up.

I agree with Mr. Kubota about writing everything down. I am the type of person I have a million things bouncing in my head it is hard to either remember them all or remember which to do first. I do find myself writing down more than just one location does help remind me all the things I need to do. For an example I keep one entry in my planner, a second reminder in each of my class binders, a third on my cell phone but only if it is an appointment and the fourth on a dry eraser board in my room. I will admit when Mr. Kubota was saying about working in batches I was and am still a little on the fence.  Growing up in a well organize family I was always taught you start on one project do as well as you can and don’t stop till it is done. Well I have to admit to a point yes we all need breaks and need time to either relax or change things up.

But for me that would be hard if I am brainstorming and having ideas one after another then just stopping I would be afraid I would lose as some call the sight. Don’t get me wrong all Mr. Kubota’s ideas were great, but it would take like he said baby steps to doing everything or finding a happy medium. Out of all Mr. Kubota talked about. I think my main thing I will need to work on are creating a bubble, working in batches and time tracking log.
